Carl Weedman
Inline Hockey News
IHWC congratulations to two of our
own. Carl Weedman and Kevin Lord.
Carl (son
of club members Jeff and Cheri Weedman) was recently
selected by USARS (USA Roller Sports) as a goalie
for the 2010 Junior Men’s World Team
USA inline hockey team and for Team USA in
the 2010 International Junior Olympics.
Carl was one of 14 players selected nationally and
the only player from Ohio to play for Team USA against
eleven other international teams this month in the
Junior World Inline Hockey Championship in Dusseldorf,
Germany.
In July, Carl will participate in the AAU
Junior Olympic – International Division
in Huntington Beach, California, where he was selected
to play on both the 16U and 21U USA Teams.
Kevin was again selected
to Referee the IIHF World Inline Hockey Championships
in Karlstad, Sweden June 27-July 4. This was the 5th
time Kevin was selected to Referee the World Championships.
He will be 1of 2 American Officials selected for this
years Tournament Tourney.Website for daily updates
